Energy-Conscious Driving
Fuel economy is mainly dependent on your style of driving. Avoid warming up the engine to operating temperature at idle speed, and never leave the engine idling for long periods.
Shift up to a higher gear as soon as conditions permit, and try to drive in the higher and more economical 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear.
Warning
Use unleaded gasoline only, and avoid fuels containing up to and including 10% ethanol or other oxygenates.
Check tire pressures regularly, and consult your authorized BMW dealer if you have any questions or concerns.
