Quick Start
Before operating your Vaterra 1972 Chevy Suburban Ascender RTR, please read this manual thoroughly. Make sure to follow the safety precautions and warnings to avoid any damage or injury. The quick start guide includes charging the battery, installing the AA batteries in the transmitter, and power ON the transmitter and vehicle.
Charging the Battery
Choose a battery designed to work with the Dynamite 8OA Brushed Waterproof ESC (DYNS22I0). We recommend the Dynamite Reaction 7.4V 4QOmAh 25 50C Lipo: Hardcase with EC3T connector. Also, use a charger designed to charge 2S Li-Po batteries, such as the Dynamite ProphetTm Sport Li-Po 35W AC Battery Charger.
Driving Precautions
When driving the vehicle, always maintain sight of it. Routinely inspect the vehicle for loose wheel hardware and steering assembly. Stop driving the vehicle when you notice a lack of power or when the battery is discharged. Remember to always follow the safety precautions and warnings outlined in this manual.
Bind Your Transmitter and Receiver
Binding is the process of programming the receiver to recognize the GUID code of a single specific transmitter. Follow the binding instructions for your transmitter. If you need to rebind, refer to the instructions in this manual.
Run Time
The run time of your Vaterra 1972 Chevy Suburban Ascender RTR is affected by the capacity of the battery pack and the condition of the battery. To improve run times, keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained, allow more airflow to the ESC and motor, change the gearing to a lower ratio, and use a battery pack with a higher mAh rating.
