Introduction
This user manual provides instructions for installing, operating, and maintaining the Whirlpool Demand Controlled Water Softener models WHES30 and WHES33.
Important Safety Information
Read and obey all safety messages to avoid potential hazards. The water softener requires a minimum water flow of 3 gallons per minute and maximum allowable inlet water pressure of 125 psi.
Before You Start
Inspect the shipment for damage and ensure all parts are included. The water softener works on 24V DC electrical power and requires a nominal 120V, 60 Hz household outlet.
Water Conditioning Information
The water softener reduces iron in water, which can cause stains and affect the taste of food and beverages. It does not remove colloidal iron or sediment.
