Always use this toaster with a power outlet of the voltage (A.C. only) marked on the back of the appliance. Do not operate toaster if the cord or plug is damaged.
Electrical Requirements
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Do not attempt to modify the power cord or plug in any way.
If the power supply cord is too short, do not use an extension cord. Have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance.
