Overview
The Trane XR203 is a programmable push-button thermostat designed for installation in climate-controlled living spaces. It features a 3.5″ backlit display and can operate in a 7-day program, 5-1-1 program, or non-programmable mode.

Product Specifications
The XR203 has a maximum number of stages of 2 for heat and 2 for cooling, and operates in a temperature range of 32°F to 105°F (0°C to 40°C). It requires two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries and has a rated differential of 0.5°F, 0.75°F, and 1.9°F for fast, medium, and slow heat, respectively.
Installation
The thermostat should be installed in a central location with good air circulation, avoiding areas with direct sunlight, radiated heat, or poor air circulation. The unit should be mounted on a section of interior wall that does not contain hot or cold water pipes or ductwork.
