Mounting and Installation

The TCSOOA Commercial Touchscreen Thermostat is designed to be wall-mounted indoors, away from windows, air ducts, and other environmental factors that may affect temperature and humidity readings.

Mounting height should meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, with a minimum clear floor space of 30″ x 48″ (760 x 1220 mm).

Power Supply and Wiring

The thermostat uses 24VAC power from a UL Listed Class 2 transformer and requires proper wiring to avoid electrical interference and ensure safe operation.

Wiring polarity must be maintained, and half-wave devices and full-wave devices must not use the same AC transformer.

Important Safety Precautions

Disconnect the power supply before beginning installation to prevent electrical shock and equipment damage.

Ensure that all thermostat power, communications, and IO cabling are connected correctly to avoid operational and communication failures or equipment damage.
