Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas and avoid placing it under rugs, near heat registers, radiators, stoves, and heaters.
Features and Operation
The Holmes Cool Mist humidifier draws dry air through the rear air intake grill area and passes it through a moisture-laden wick filter.
The resulting moist air is directed back into the room from the top air grill.
The humidifier has a programmable humidistat that can be set between 30% and 65% relative humidity.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Daily maintenance includes cleaning the humidifier and replacing the filter every 1-2 months, depending on water hardness.
Weekly maintenance involves removing scale and disinfecting the humidifier base and tanks.
