The Shark NavigatorTm Pet with Self-Cleaning Brushroll is intended for household use only. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
General Warnings
Always turn off the vacuum cleaner before connecting or disconnecting the power cord. Do not handle the plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands. Do not use the vacuum in poorly lit areas, wet or damp surfaces, outdoor areas, or spaces with explosive or toxic fumes.
Operating the Vacuum
Make sure the dust cup and all filters are in place before use. Select the correct surface setting (hard floor or carpet) and adjust the suction control according to the floor type. Engage the brushroll by stepping on the floor nozzle and tilting the handle back.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Unplug the power cord before performing any maintenance or cleaning. Clean the filters regularly and replace them as recommended. Do not use soap when cleaning the filters, and allow them to air-dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them.
For deep carpet cleaning, set the suction to MAX and use the setting II Carpet mode.
Emptying the Dust Cup
To empty the dust cup, slide up the latch on top of the dust cup handle, tilt the dust cup forward, and lift it out. Press the lower release button to open the bottom of the dust cup and remove collected debris.
Replace the filters and dust cup as recommended.
