Important Safety Information
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this vacuum cleaner has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
General Warning: Your Shark vacuum may consist of motorized nozzle, wand, hose, and/or vacuum pod. This device contains electrical connections, electrical wiring, and moving parts that potentially present a risk to the user.
Before use, carefully inspect all parts for any damage. Do not use if any parts are damaged. The use of an extension cord is not recommended.
Assembly and Use
Assemble your vacuum by placing the Floor Nozzle on a level surface, aligning the tube of the floor nozzle with the tube on the Lift-Away Pod, and sliding the pod down until it clicks into place.
Insert the end of the Extension Wand into the tube on the back of the Lift-Away Pod until it clicks into place, and attach accessories as needed.
Use the Power/Surface Switch to select the surface setting (Bare Floor or Carpet) and adjust the Suction Control as needed.
