Safety Precautions

Use the air conditioner only for its intended purpose and follow the installation instructions. Never unplug the air conditioner by pulling on the power cord, and always grip the plug firmly and pull straight out from the receptacle.

Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage, and turn the mode control OFF and unplug the air conditioner before making any repairs or cleaning.

Connecting Electricity

Always plug the air conditioner into its own individual electrical outlet with a voltage rating that matches the rating plate. The power cord is equipped with a 3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard 3-prong (grounding) wall outlet.

Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs, but if you must, use a UL-listed, 14-gauge, 3-wire grounding type appliance extension cord or adapter.

Controls and Operation

The air conditioner has mode controls (HIGH COOL, MED COOL, and LOW COOL) and temp controls to maintain the room temperature.

Additional controls include vent control (on some models) and air direction adjustment (side-to-side and up and down).
