About the System
The indoor unit is equipped with an electrically powered safety measure such as a refrigerant leak detector. The unit must be electrically powered at all times after installation, except for short service periods.
The refrigerant inside the unit is mildly flammable, but normally does not leak. If the refrigerant leaks in the room and comes in contact with fire, it may result in fire or the formation of a harmful gas.
