Getting Started
Before first use, remove the battery pull tab and charge the Roomba for at least 16 hours. Prepare your cleaning area by clearing away clutter and loose cables.
Set up the Home Base and Virtual Walls or Auto Virtual Wall to block off areas. For best results, use your Roomba regularly and empty the bin and clean the filter after each use.
Looking After Your iRobot Roomba
Extend the battery life by recharging it as soon as possible and storing your Roomba plugged in. For long-term storage, remove and store the battery in a cool, dry place.
Regular maintenance is essential to keep your Roomba working perfectly. Clean the brushes and brush bearings regularly, and empty the bin after each use.
