Installation Requirements
The dishwasher requires basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills for installation.
Ensure the dishwasher is completely enclosed at the time of installation to reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or injury.
Preparation
Prepare the dishwasher enclosure by ensuring the wall area is free of pipes and wires.
Drill a 1-1/2″ diameter hole in the cabinet wall for the drain hose connection.
Electrical and Water Line Connections
Remove all power leading to the appliance from the circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning installation.
Ensure the electrical connection and wire size are adequate and in conformance with the National Electric Code and local codes and ordinances.
Use a 3/8″ minimum copper tubing or a flexible braided hose for the hot water line connection.
