Carbon Monoxide (CO) Monitor Function
The CO monitor function is a supplemental device only and should not be used as a substitute for a certified carbon monoxide alarm.
If the CO alarm is activated, open all windows and doors, turn off fuel-burning appliances, and evacuate the property. Get immediate medical help for anyone suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Avoid using paint, thinners, solvent fumes, or air fresheners near the appliance, as they may affect the CO monitor’s functioning.
