Installation Instructions

The thermostat should be installed in an area with good air circulation, away from drafts, hot or cold air from ducts, and radiant heat from sun or appliances.

The subbase should be mounted on the wall, and the thermostat should be mounted to the subbase.

Important Safety Precautions

Avoid electrical interference by keeping wiring runs short and not running thermostat wires adjacent to line voltage electrical distribution systems.

Use shielded cable, and ground the cable shield only at the controlled equipment case.

Mercuty Notice

Properly dispose of old thermostats that contain mercury in a sealed tube.

Thermostat Operation

The thermostat can be programmed to control heating and cooling systems, and can be set to occupied or not occupied modes.

The thermostat has a keypad that can be used to set the current time and day, program times and setpoints for heating and cooling, and override the program temperatures.

The thermostat also has a system and fan operation settings that can be configured using the keypad.
