Important Safety Information
Replace the water filter cartridge every 6 months or earlier if 170 gallons of water has been dispensed or the flow of water to the dispenser or icemaker decreases.
Do not twist the cartridge if you have a grey filter holder, as it may damage the refrigerator or filter.
Installation and Replacement
Remove the old cartridge by opening the filter door and pulling on the bottom of the cartridge to disengage it from the filter clips.
Align the new cartridge with the cartridge holder, push it inward, and twist it clockwise one-quarter turn.
After installation, run 2 gallons of water through the cold water dispenser to remove air from the system.
Important Notices
Do not use the hot water dispenser or Autofill function until all air is removed from the system.
Use of the hot water dispenser prior to purging air from the system may result in spurting of hot water and lead to hot water scalding.
