Important Safety Information

Congratulations on choosing your new Electrolux Side-by-Side Refrigerator. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience with your new appliance, please read this user manual carefully and store it in a handy place for future reference.

Before installing your new refrigerator, please check that it is not damaged and ensure that the appliance is installed correctly. This appliance contains flammable refrigerant, and improper installation or disposal could lead to safety hazards.

Please note that the installation and operation of your refrigerator may require some adjustments and precautions. For example, the appliance should be plugged into its own dedicated 220-240V, 50Hz AC electrical outlet, and ensure that the electric outlet is properly earthed. Avoid using extension cords or adapter plugs, and do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.

It is also important to keep the appliance in a dry place, avoiding areas of high moisture or humidity, and not to store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant inside the appliance. For more information on safe installation and operation, please refer to the safety instructions provided above.

Installing Your New Refrigerator

To install your new refrigerator, please follow the steps outlined below. Ensure that the stability foot is wound fully up so it will not interfere with the operation of the rollers. The rollers are designed for forward or backward movement only, so do not try to move the refrigerator sideways.

Clearance Around the Refrigerator

When installing your refrigerator, please ensure that there is adequate clearance around the appliance for air circulation. This clearance should be at least 10mm on both sides, 30mm at the back, and 10mm above the hinge covers.

Stability and Leveling

To ensure stability and leveling of your refrigerator, please wind the stability foot down to the floor until it just makes contact with the floor. Whenever you need to move the appliance, be sure to wind the foot back up so that the appliance can roll freely.

Refrigerator Operation

Your new refrigerator uses a high-speed compressor and other energy-efficient components to provide rapid cooling and air circulation. However, you may notice some unusual noises during operation, such as compressor running noise, air movement noise from the small fan motor, or occasional gurgling and popping noises during automatic defrosting. These noises are normal and not cause for alarm.

Temperature Control

To adjust the temperature of your refrigerator, please refer to the user interface section for your model. Ensure that you make only small adjustments and wait 24 hours to see if the desired temperature has been achieved.

Please note that temperatures inside each compartment may vary depending on the amount of food stored and its location. You can check the temperature by monitoring the softness of ice cream in the freezer or the temperature of water in the refrigerator.

Energy Efficiency

Your new refrigerator is designed to be energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. For more information on how to reduce your energy consumption and environmental impact, please refer to the user manual.
