Safety Precautions And Warning Levels
For ensuring safety, the manual contains specific symbols indicating potential personal injury risks. These symbols are categorized into three levels: ‘DANGER’ for the most serious hazards, ‘WARNING’ for potentially injurious hazards, and ‘CAUTION’ for unsafe practices that could lead to minor personal injury or property damage.
Installation and Operation
It is crucial that only authorized personnel install the high wall fan coil unit, with approved tubing and accessories. If technical assistance is needed, it should be sought from the installer. The unit can be operated through the provided wireless remote control or set to the ‘Auto’ setting on the unit itself.
Operating Modes
The high wall fan coil unit comes with five operating modes for different comfort needs:
- FAN Only: circulates room air without temperature change.
- AUTO: automatically chooses between cooling and heating to reach the user-selected temperature, recommended for single-zone applications only.
- HEATING: warms and filters the room’s air.
- COOLING: cools, dries, and filters the air.
- DEHUMIDIFICATION (DRY): reduces humidity levels while slightly cooling the room. Not suitable for a multi-zone system.
Remote Control Features
You control the unit using a wireless remote control that exhibits the system status. It can be mounted securely with the provided bracket. Optional accessories include a wired remote control, 24V interface, and a Wi-Fi Interface Kit (KSAIF0601AAA) that enables smartphone control of the system.
