Installation Overview
This manual provides instructions for installing a cruise control kit on 2012-2013 Toyota Tacoma models.
Vehicle Preparation
Before starting the installation, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the airbag and steering wheel components.
Remove the driver side kick panel, lower instrument panel finish panel, and steering column shroud.
Control Switch Installation
Use a template to drill a 1/4″ pilot hole on the right side trim panel and install the cruise control switch with two Phillips screws.
Route the ground harness along the factory harness to a 10mm bolt on the vehicle frame and connect the brown cruise ECM harness to the ECM behind the glove box area.
