2014-2015 Hyundai Veloster (FS) Service Campaign: Manual Heater Control Unit Replacement

Important Notice

This Service Campaign is applicable to certain 2014-2015 MY Veloster (FS) vehicles equipped with manual heater control unit.

Dealers must perform this Service Campaign whenever an affected vehicle is in the shop for any maintenance or repair.

Problem Description

The internal switch for the blower (fan) speed control may become inoperative on some affected vehicles.

Service Procedure

Replace the heater control unit following the procedure outlined in this bulletin.

Use the provided panel puller tool to release the center fascia panel mounting clips.

Disconnect the connectors, loosen the mounting screws, and remove the old heater control unit.

Replace with the new heater control unit and reinstall all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.

Verify the repair by checking the operation of all panel switches and the heater control unit.
