Introduction
This bulletin provides guidelines for factory scheduled maintenance for various Mazda models.
Applicable Models
The bulletin applies to the following models: B-Series, MPV, Mazda6, MX-5, Protege, Tribute, CX-3, RX-8, Miata, Mazda2, CX-5, 626, Millenia, Mazda5, CX-7, CX-9.
Maintenance Recommendations
Mazda recommends following the scheduled maintenance tables in the vehicle-specific workshop manual or owner’s manual. Services performed outside of Mazda’s factory scheduled maintenance are not recommended.
Transmission fluid flushing, engine oil flushes, and other services are only recommended under specific conditions and should only be performed by skilled technicians.
Only use factory recommended fluids to avoid component damage and warranty voidance.
