The external view of the Mazda RX-8 features dynamic styling, with a compact cabin supported by pronounced overfenders, which lowers the visual center of gravity and emphasizes stability. The interior design is modern and high-quality, with vibrant styling from the dashboard to the rear, featuring new textures, coloring, and metallic-look materials.
The Mazda RX-8 features the “RENESIS” new-generation rotary engine, which has been adopted for its power and efficiency. The engine is equipped with advanced technologies, including a side exhaust system, increased intake port area, and improved air flow, which results in reduced intake resistance and increased power.
The Mazda RX-8 incorporates advanced technology features, including a sequential dynamic air intake system, large air cleaner and variable fresh air duct, three injectors per rotor, and an advanced front-midship layout, which provides a 50-50 front-rear weight distribution and minimal yaw-inertia moment.
