Important Warnings and Notes
This kit should only be installed on a vehicle in good working condition, and not on a vehicle that has been in a collision or misused.
Off-road use with this kit installed may increase stress on the factory body mounts, and extreme off-road maneuvers are not recommended.
Installation of this kit will change the vehicle’s center of gravity and handling characteristics, and may affect braking performance.
Proper installation requires knowledge of factory recommended procedures, and a certified mechanic is strongly recommended.
Installation Preparation
Before starting installation, read and understand all instructions, warnings, and cautions.
Verify all parts have been received, and prepare to provide information if parts are missing.
Measure and record distances between front bumper and fenders, rear bumper and bed, and cab and bed.
Engine Compartment
Disconnect battery cables, and remove engine cover and airbox.
Loosen hose clamp and remove inlet hose from intake manifold.
Power Steering
Drain fluid from power steering reservoir, and install kit extensions and clamps.
Mark and cut power steering hoses, and refill reservoir with approved fluid.
