Recall Notice: Turn Signal Indicator
This recall is for X-TYPE vehicles with a concern about the external indicators. When power is lost, the internal ‘tell tales’ flash as if there is no fault.
The corrective action is to replace the General Electronic Control Module (GECM) with a new one that includes feedback in the event of power loss to the direction indicator system.
Important Notes
All vehicle keys/transmitters must be present during GECM reconfiguration. Any key/transmitter not present will no longer function.
Ensure that all repairs are completed at one visit, including other outstanding Service Actions.
Review the Vehicle’s Claim History within DDW to determine whether this recall has been previously performed on the specific vehicle.
