Welcome to the global family of Volvo owners This Quick Guide provides a brief overview of the most common features and functions in your Volvo.

City Safety

City Safety is designed to help distracted drivers in critical situations. It is active at speeds ranging from 2-18 mph and assists the driver by monitoring the traffic ahead using a laser sensor.

Remote Key and PCC

The Remote Key and PCC (Personal Car Communicator) allow you to lock/unlock the doors and tailgate, arm/disarm the alarm, and access various features such as approach lighting and panic alarm.

Starting the Engine

To start the engine, insert the remote key, press the START/STOP ENGINE button, and press the brake pedal.

Audio System

The audio system allows you to listen to the radio, play CDs, and connect external devices such as an mp3 player or iPod.

Emergency Brake Assist (EBA)

EBA is designed to provide full brake effect immediately in the event of sudden, hard braking.

Car Care

Hand washing is recommended for the first few months to avoid damaging the paint. Use clean water, suitable car washing detergent, and a sponge.

Electronic Climate Control (ECC)

ECC controls all functions in AUTO mode, including blower speed, air distribution, and temperature.
