Overview
The Daikin One Premium Air Cleaner is an in-line air cleaner designed for residential use. It treats home air for airborne particulate matter and chemicals, utilizing a high-efficiency MERV 15 media filter and a room temperature catalyst (RTC) insert.
Key Features
The air cleaner has industrial strength magnets, and its installation requires trained personnel. It is adaptable to unitary residential forced air heating or cooling systems and should be installed in the return air duct close to the blower compartment of the furnace or air handler.
Important Safety Precautions
Warning: Risk of carbon monoxide poisoning if the cabinet door is not installed. Warning: Magnets may interfere with pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators. Caution: Handle filters and RTC inserts with care, and avoid skin contact and breathing dust.
Installation and Maintenance
Follow the general installation steps, including removing existing equipment filters, cleaning the blower compartment, and attaching the cabinet to the furnace or air handler. Replace filters and the RTC insert regularly, and ensure proper airflow and sealing of joints in the return air system.
