2019 Cadillac XT4 and Chevrolet Malibu Owner’s Manual Supplement: Recreational Towing Dolly Tow Procedure

Important Safety Information

The owner’s manual for certain 2019 model year Cadillac XT4 and Chevrolet Malibu vehicles contains incorrect instructions for towing the vehicle behind another vehicle with two wheels on the ground and two wheels on a dolly.

Owners will receive a manual insert with the correct instructions for recreational towing, including dinghy towing and dolly towing procedures.

Caution

Do not tow the vehicle with all four wheels on the ground, as this can cause damage to the vehicle’s components and is not covered by the warranty.

Follow the correct procedures for dolly towing, including loading and unloading the vehicle from the dolly, and ensure the vehicle is properly prepared for towing.
