Power Tool Use and Care

Use the correct power tool for the job, and maintain it properly. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts.

Keep handles and grasping surfaces clean and free from oil and grease.

Battery Tool Use and Care

Recharge only with the specified charger, and avoid exposing the battery pack to fire or excessive temperature.

Do not use a damaged or modified battery pack or tool.

Specific Safety Rules for Grinders

Do not run the power tool while carrying it at your side. Accidental contact with the spinning accessory could snag your clothing.

Use special care when making a “pocket cut” into existing walls or other blind areas.

Additional Safety Warnings

Maintain labels and nameplates, and contact the MILWAUKEE service facility for a free replacement if they are unreadable or missing.

Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
