Recall 244: Trailer Tow Hitch Harness Inspection
This recall affects certain 2022-2023MY Santa Cruz and 2019-2023MY Santa Fe vehicles equipped with a Genuine Hyundai Accessory trailer tow hitch assembly.
The recall is due to a potential electrical short circuit in the trailer tow hitch harness module, which can increase the risk of a fire while driving or when the vehicle is parked with the ignition off.

Dealers must inspect the vehicle’s trailer tow hitch harness and perform the necessary repairs to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
