Overview
The UC1524A family of regulating PWM ICs is designed to offer substantial improvements over the industry standard UC1524. These ICs are pin-compatible with the standard UC1524 family and can be directly interchanged in most existing applications.
Key Features
The UC1524A includes a precise 5V reference trimmed to +1% accuracy, an error amplifier with an input range that includes 5V, a current sense amplifier, and a pair of 60V, 20OmA uncommitted transistor switches.
Additional features include an under-voltage lockout circuit, a PWM latch to ensure single period pulses, double pulse suppression logic, and automatic thermal protection.
Applications
The UC1524A is suitable for use in low-power off-line supplies, and its oscillator circuit can be synchronized with an external clock pulse.
