Introduction
This service bulletin addresses HVAC servo motor malfunctions in 2018-2020 model year LC 500 and LC 500h vehicles.
Some vehicles may exhibit uneven temperature or air flow between vents, little or no air flow from vents, or improper MODE control function.
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
The following DTCs may be stored: B144A, B1441, B1442, B1443, B1446, B1453, B1454, and B1455.
Repair Procedure
Verify vehicle eligibility, initialize servo motors using Techstream, and check for HVAC malfunctions and DTCs.
Reprogram the air conditioner amplifier assembly, clean and replace servos as necessary, and repair according to the Repair Manual.
