Correction Procedure
Dealers are to install the owner manual inserts. No parts are required for this repair.
The correction involves printing and installing the appropriate language owner manual inserts for the service area.
The inserts replace the “Dinghy Caution” and “Dolly Towing Information” sections in the owner’s manual.
Important Safety Information
Do not tow the vehicle with the front drive wheels on the ground without the “Vehicle Core” settlement.
Follow the proper procedure for Dinghy Towing to avoid severe damage to the transmission.
For AWD vehicles, a lubrication cycle is recommended after 700 km (1,700 miles) of recreational dinghy towing.
