Vehicle Safety Recall Information
A safety-related defect has been identified in 2015 Maserati Ghibli vehicles, where the front wheel bearing may not have been sufficiently hardened, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
The remedy is the replacement of the affected front wheel bearing, which will be performed free of charge to the customer.
The repair procedure involves replacing the front wheel bearing, and reinstalling all previously removed components.
Important Reminders
When reinstalling the brake caliper to the hub holder, the mounting bolts must be replaced with new bolts and torqued to 105 Nms. When reinstalling the front wheel, torque the lug bolts to 100 Nms.
