Overview
This datasheet describes the specifications and characteristics of Nichicon’s F91 series of solid tantalum electrolytic capacitors, designed for high-frequency applications and compliant with the RoHS directive.
Key Features
These capacitors feature low ESR, high reliability, and a compact resin-molded chip design for surface-mounting. They are suitable for use in high-frequency circuits and are available in a range of capacitance values and voltage ratings.
Specifications
The capacitors have a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, with a rated temperature of +85°C. They have a capacitance tolerance of ±20% and a dissipation factor of ≤150% of the initial specified value. The leakage current is ≤0.01CV or 3μA, whichever is greater, after 1 minute of rated voltage application.
The capacitors also undergo various tests, including damp heat, temperature cycles, and surge tests, to ensure their reliability and performance.
