Infiniti Service Bulletin RS19-005: Occupant Detection Sensor Unit (OCS) Reprogramming

This bulletin is intended for qualified technicians only, not for ‘do-it-yourselfers’.

Service Procedure

Check the Occupant Classification System (OCS) control unit using the ODS Analysis tool software.

Perform “75-zero RESET” using the OCS Reprogramming Cable J-51594.

Ensure the CONSULT PC is connected to the Internet and all software updates are installed.

Turn off all vehicle electrical loads and external Bluetooth devices during reprogramming.

Follow the detailed procedure to reprogram the OCS control unit.
