Overview
The UltraMOV varistor series is designed for high peak surge current ratings and high energy absorption capability in AC line voltage applications.
Key Features
These varistors are available in radial lead package sizes of 7, 10, 14, and 20mm, with various lead forms and are manufactured with epoxy encapsulation.
They are rated for ambient temperatures up to 85°C with no derating and are lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant.
Applications
Typical applications include surge protection devices (SPDs), uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), AC power taps, AC power meters, and other products requiring voltage clamping of high transient surge currents.
