Installation Instructions
The T4 Pro Thermostat comes with a UWP Mounting System, Honeywell Standard Installation Adapter (J-box adapter), and a Decorative Cover Plate.
Before starting the installation, turn off the power at the breaker box or switch.
Mounting Options
Use the Optional Cover Plate when mounting the thermostat to an electrical junction box or when covering a paint gap from an old thermostat.
Alternatively, use the UWP Mounting System, which includes a Junction Box Adapter and a Cover Plate.
Wiring Terminal Designations
The thermostat has various terminals for different system types, including heating, cooling, and heat pump systems.
Use the Slider Tabs (built-in jumper) to differentiate between one or two transformer systems.
System Operation Settings
Press the Mode button to cycle through available System modes, including Auto, Heat, Cool, Em Heat (for heat pumps with auxiliary heat), and Off.
Press the Fan button to cycle through available Fan modes, including Auto and On.
