Cleaning and Disinfection
The ROSA Shoulder System requires cleaning and disinfection after each use. Use a damp cloth with mild disinfectants, ethanol (70%), or Isopropyl Alcohol (70%) to clean the covers, panels, and Robotic Arm. Avoid using solvents that may damage or discolor paint finishes or plastic components.
Specific cleaning instructions are provided for the Optical Camera Camera Housing, Illuminator Filters, and Lenses.
Instrument Reprocessing
Reusable instruments must be cleaned, lubricated, and sterilized before every surgery. Refer to the provided references for detailed instructions on instrument care, cleaning, maintenance, and sterilization.
Steam sterilization (autoclave) cycle parameters are provided, including temperature, exposure time, and drying times.
ROSA Shoulder System Instrument Kit
Additional cleaning instructions are provided for specific instruments, including disassembly, water jet flushing, and ultrasonic cleaning.
Lubrication of instruments, especially the ROSA Shoulder Glen Core, is essential to maintain integrity during use.
