2013-2017 Pathfinder, Murano, and Rogue Service Bulletin: Fluid Leak Caused by Transfer Assembly Right Side Drive Shaft Seal

Issue:

Fluid leak caused by the transfer assembly right side drive shaft seal in certain Nissan models.

Affected Models:

2013-2017 Pathfinder AWD (R52), 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid AWD (R52), 2015-2017 Murano AWD (Z52), 2016 Murano Hybrid AWD (Z52), and 2014-2017 Rogue AWD (T32).

Action:

Reseal the transfer assembly and replace the drive shaft oil seal or ring gear shaft oil seal, depending on the model.

Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for transfer assembly removal, reseal, and installation information.

Be careful not to damage the transfer assembly right side drive shaft seal when reinstalling the drive shaft.
