The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV and Bolt EV feature a new interior, innovative features, and sleek exterior designs, sharing the same 65kWh nickel-lithium-ion high-voltage battery pack.
Design and Propulsion
The vehicles have an all-electric front-motor, front-wheel-drive, 5-passenger, 4-door design with an advanced high-strength steel frame and aluminum enclosures.
The propulsion system includes a 65-kWh nickel-rich, lithium-ion high-voltage battery, a front-wheel drive, variable-speed 1ET25 automatic transmission, and a permanent magnet 150-kWh drive motor.
One-Pedal Driving
The electronic shifter features a push/pull switch operation, and the One-Pedal Driving mode helps the vehicle generate and capture greater amounts of energy during deceleration.
Charging
The standard level drive motor battery charger cord is capable of plugging into a standard 120V household electrical plug, and a dual-mode drive motor battery charger cord is standard equipment for the Bolt EUV and optional for the Bolt EV.
Driver Assistance and Safety
The vehicles include the Chevrolet Safety Assist package as standard equipment, featuring Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and other safety features.
