The Highlander is powered by an all-new available 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine paired with an advanced available Direct Shift-8AT (8-speed Automatic Transmission). This powertrain generates more horsepower and torque while enhancing fuel efficiency.
The available Stop and Start Engine System (S&S) shuts off the engine when the vehicle is at rest to save fuel, and the Highlander can tow up to 5000 lbs.
