Installation Requirements
The water heater must be installed indoors, in a vertical position, and on a level surface.
Locate the water heater near the center of the water piping system and consider the vent system piping and combustion air supply requirements.
A suitable metal drain pan should be installed under the water heater to protect the property from damage.
Operating the Water Heater
Lighting instructions and electrical connections are provided in the manual.
The water heater has a resettable thermal switch installed as part of the Flame Locke Safety System.
Do not attempt to disable or modify this feature in any way.
