Quick Installation Guide
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the RTH516O Series Non-Programmable Thermostat.
Before You Start
Turn off the power to your heating/cooling system at the breaker box or switch.
Check that your system is off by changing the temperature on your old thermostat.
Removing Your Old Thermostat
Remove the old thermostat’s faceplate, but do not remove any wires.
Take a picture of your wiring for reference.
Installing Your RTH516O Thermostat
Disconnect the wires and remove the old wall plate.
Use the UWP Mounting Anchors System to install the new thermostat.
Insert wires into the terminals, making sure to match the wire labels.
