Tesla Cybertruck Event Data Recorder Retrieval Guide

Introduction

The Tesla Cybertruck is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) that records data related to vehicle dynamics and safety systems in the event of a crash or crash-like situation.

Tools Required

To retrieve EDR data, you will need the following special tools:

PCAN-USB Adapter, XP-10 Jump Pack, a Windows computer with the Tesla EDR Retrieval Program, and an appropriate data retrieval cable.
