Safety Precautions
This manual provides essential information for safely working on the SUBARU SOLTERRA 5-Door SUV 2022-3.
Immobilization and Stabilization
To immobilize the vehicle, chock the wheels and engage the parking brake. Then, press the P position switch.
When lifting the vehicle, use cribbing at the four points under the front and rear pillars. Avoid placing cribbing under high voltage power cables.
Disabling Hazards
Before disconnecting the battery, operate the following systems: power door lock, power window, power seat, power back door, electric parking brake, and electronic shift matic.
Perform the Main or Alternative procedure to completely shut off the vehicle.
Safety Regulations
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when dealing with high voltage batteries, liquids, gases, and solids.
In case of fire, use copious amounts of water to extinguish the fire. In case of submersion, do not touch high-voltage components or cables while the vehicle is submerged.
