RADIALL offers SMA flange receptacles with extended dielectric in two versions: Standard SMA and Commercial SMA. Both types are available with 2 standard lengths of dielectric and custom back lengths.
Center Contact Retention Technologies
RADIALL provides 3 center contact retention options: Epoxy, Indents, and No Captivation. Each technology features advantages suitable for particular applications, including high frequency performance, environmental performance, and price.
The Epoxy technology provides excellent axial and rotational capture, but is penalized by high RF leakage and limited power handling. The Indent technology offers good electrical performance and is 20% less expensive than Epoxy. The No Captivation method provides the best VSWR at high frequencies, but is best suited for applications with robust mechanical support.
All 3 technologies meet the MIL-PRS-39012 standard requirements regarding center contact retention.
