Service Campaign Overview
This service campaign aims to prevent water infiltration through the door wiring area in certain Maserati MC20 (M240) vehicles.
Cause and Solution
The issue is caused by a poor coupling between the aluminum bracket of the door connector and the carbon fiber of the monocoque body. A new coupling has been implemented on later production vehicles to prevent any risk of infiltration.
Procedure
The procedure involves cleaning the bolts, protecting the interior, and sealing the highlighted areas around the DTB (Door to Body) connector bracket using approved sealants.
Important: The procedure must be carried out on the DTB connectors inside the front wheel arches, and a functional test of the door and door-related components must be performed after completion.
