Overview
The Advanta TM 2 Bed is a three-mode bed exit system designed to monitor patient position and alert caregivers when the patient moves towards the siderail, exits the bed, or shifts significantly off the bed frame.
Key Features
The bed features a lockout control to disable articulating functions, a foot extension to extend the foot section, and an automatic contour feature to keep the patient from sliding down in bed.
It also includes a bed flat control, a SafeView system to alert caregivers of potential safety issues, and a scale that must be zeroed prior to use.
Additionally, the bed has controls for Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions, a dining chair position, and a head angle alarm to notify caregivers if the head section goes below 30°.
The bed also features an emergency CPR control, a line manager to keep lines organized, and a FullChair patient positioning mechanism to place the patient in a fully seated position.
Other features include a care grip hand hold to assist patients during ingress and egress, and a vascular position to elevate the patient’s legs above the level of their sternum.
