Engine Misfires and MIL Illuminated
The engine may exhibit misfires, poor fuel economy, hard starting, and rough idle conditions when cold or hot, with the Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated.

Service Instructions
Replace fuel injectors for XK models exhibiting cold or hot engine misfires.
Replace fuel injectors for XF and XJ models exhibiting hot engine misfires.
Update Engine Control Module (ECM) software for XF and XJ models exhibiting cold or hot engine misfires.
Use Jaguar Land Rover-approved Midtronics battery power supply and SDD with latest DVD and Calibration File for diagnosis and repair.
