Important Safety Information
Volkswagen is conducting a service action on certain 2021 model year Atlas vehicles due to the installation of the “Lane Change System (Side Assist)” assistance system, which was not described in detail in the original owner’s manual.
Corrective Action
Volkswagen will mail owners an owner’s manual supplement containing the correct information for their vehicle. Dealers are asked to include this supplement with the glove box literature of each affected inventory vehicle.
Owners are requested to review the enclosed supplement and keep it with their owner’s manual for future reference.
